Schools in the Human Rights in Education Initiative

Teachers, principals and school board members across the country have expressed interest in Human Rights in Education (HRiE).

Of these several are ‘lead schools’ working with members of the HRiE Facilitation Team to plan and implement a comprehensive approach to human rights-based education in their school.

They include:

  • Bluestone School (Timaru)
  • Te Kura Kaupapa Maori o Ngati Kahungunu o Te Wairoa
  • Lower Moutere School
  • May Road School (Auckland)
  • Motueka High School
  • Nelson Central School
  • New Windsor School (Auckland)
  • Rosebank School (Auckland)
